Looking for a summer you'll never forget?
Join Gjendeosen Café and spend the season surrounded by some of Norway's most spectacular mountain scenery while working with a friendly, international team.
We're looking for a Seasonal Chef to join us ASAP until September 6th during our busiest and most exciting time of the year.
About the Role
You'll become part of a close-knit kitchen team of 2–3 chefs, preparing quality meals for hikers, tourists, and visitors from around the world.
Our menu focuses on fresh, homemade café favourites, including:
- Burgers & smash burgers
- Fish and meat dishes
- Lunch specials
- Seasonal café meals
This is a fast-paced kitchen where teamwork, efficiency, and a positive attitude are essential.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has previous experience as a chef or cook
- Speaks English or a Scandinavian language
- Enjoys working in a busy kitchen
- Is reliable, positive, and flexible
- Works well as part of a team
- Is a non-smoker
- Has a professional and responsible attitude towards alcohol
