Waiter (2 Positions Available)
We are seeking two professional and service-oriented waiters to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about hospitality, food, and wine.

1 position: As soon as possible
1 position: Beginning of June (minimum until mid/end of August)
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome and attend to guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take orders and serve food and beverages efficiently
- Provide recommendations, including wine pairings when appropriate
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the dining experience
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a waiter in a restaurant setting (required)
- Strong knowledge or interest in wine (highly advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills in Scandinavian or English
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-tempo environment
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Professional appearance and customer-focused mindset

About the company
Steak opened its doors in the heart of Tønsberg Brygge on June 5, 2017, and has been a success from day one. Today, the restaurant features approximately 160 seats, including a spacious outdoor terrace with sun from morning to evening and stunning views of the canal and city fjord.
We offer perfectly charcoal-grilled meat, street food, and burgers complemented by varied and exciting side dishes. At the heart of our kitchen is a Josper charcoal grill, where all our high-quality meats are prepared to perfection. In addition to our premium meat selection, we also offer a diverse menu including fish and vegetarian dishes.
