Smakeriet Geilo is looking for an experienced chef to join our kitchen team! We have one temporary position available, starting on september 26th to october 13th 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a casual dining restaurant that values quality and strives to create unforgettable culinary experiences for our guests.

🔍 What We Look For

• Passion for cooking and a desire to deliver exceptional dishes
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
• Experience collaborating with service, bar, and kitchen teams
• Fluent in Norwegian or English
• Previous experience with cold section and desserts.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Create unforgettable dining experiences for our guests
• Prepare meals following set procedures and profitability goals
• Conduct daily mise en place, including lunches and conference dinners
• Ensure adherence to our raw material management and hygiene practices
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, back areas, and storage
• Contribute to a positive work environment and teamwork among colleagues
• Work efficiently during busy service times, including evenings and weekends
