About the position
Adventure Awaits: Seasonal Chef/Host at Fjelleventyret 🏔️ Are you a culinary professional who finds peace in the peaks? Fjelleventyret, a boutique hotel and restaurant nestled in the stunning landscapes of Skjåk, Norway, is looking for a self-reliant and energetic individual to run our kitchen and front-of-house service this summer. - Period: June 15th – September 1st, 2026.
- Workload: 160–180 hours per month.
- Perks: Free accommodation and food while at work are provided.
- Location: Vassgangen 24, 2690 Skjåk (A beautiful, remote mountain setting).

The Role You will be the heart of our guest experience. Because we are a small, intimate mountain retreat, you will often be working alone, managing both the kitchen and service for up to 30 guests. Our menu focuses on high-quality mountain comfort food:
3 types of artisanal pizza
- Steaks
- Burgers and Sandwiches
- Fresh Salads
Who You Are Independent: You are comfortable managing a kitchen and dining room solo. You’re organized, calm under pressure, and enjoy the "one-man-show" dynamic. Outdoors Enthusiast: This location is very remote. If your idea of a perfect day off involves hiking, mountain biking, or fishing in the Norwegian wilderness, you will feel right at home. Service-Minded: You enjoy the personal connection that comes with serving a small group of guests in a cozy, rustic setting.
