Carls, a premier event venue located at Carl Berners Plass, is seeking a talented chef to become part of our dynamic team. We have one full-time position (100%) available, starting on September 01, 2026. This role requires flexibility for evening and weekend shifts.
🔍 What We Look For
- A passion for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests
- Strong culinary skills and attention to detail and past pizzaiolo experience
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
- A collaborative spirit to foster teamwork among colleagues
- Fluency in Norwegian or English
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen setting
🎯 Responsibilities
- 50/50 Pizzaiolo and covering chef responsibilities in the kitchen both day time and evening
- Create unforgettable culinary experiences for event guests
- Prepare dishes according to established routines and profitability goals
- Perform daily mise en place for lunches, conference dinners, and banquet events
- Follow standard kitchen hygiene and ingredient management practices
- Adhere to the guidelines set by our culinary concept
- Maintain a clean and fresh kitchen, as well as storage areas
- Collaborate effectively with the service, bar, kitchen, and other departments
- Ensure high-quality food preparation in line with our food concept
- Contribute to a positive work environment and teamwork with colleagues
