Breakfast Server

Ytri Island Retreat is a high-end destination located in the breathtaking Træna archipelago, far out at sea on the Norwegian coast. With 38 exclusive rooms, a Michelin Key-ambitious hotel, a Michelin-ambitious restaurant, sauna facilities, and a private marina, we aim to deliver world-class experiences rooted in nature, authenticity, and the unique atmosphere of the Arctic seascape. Hospitality is at the heart of everything we do. We are now looking for a passionate Breakfast Server to join our front-of-house team and help create memorable mornings for our guests. This position is available immediately on an initial 2-month full-time contract, with the opportunity to extend into a permanent full-time position.

Our breakfast is different - It is a authentic replication of norwegian hytte breakfast. Where the whole experience happens at the table. Everything is served to you, so no ordinary buffet. we make pride to serve our guest, welcoming them at the table and unfold the experience by storytelling them what we serve giving giving them a peaceful breakfast experience.

Responsibilities Welcome guests with genuine warmth and professionalism. Prepare and serve our breakfast experience, including table service, buffet presentation, and coffee and tea service. Ensure the breakfast restaurant is beautifully presented before, during, and after service. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and attention to detail throughout the breakfast shift. Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience. Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, personalised service. Assist with preparation for the following day's breakfast service. Follow food safety, hygiene, and sustainability standards in all daily operations. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, cafés, or hotels is an advantage but not essential. A genuine passion for hospitality and creating outstanding guest experiences. Positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team member. Organised, reliable, and attentive to detail. Comfortable working early morning shifts. Fluent in English. Scandinavian language skills are an advantage.
