Breakfast Chef – Engø Gård Hotel & Restaurant

Location: Tjøme, Norway (approx. 1.5 hours south of Oslo)

Position: Full-time, Temporary (Starting ASAP until 31.07)

Engø Gård is looking for 1 Responsible Breakfast Chef to join our tight-knit team for the summer season.

About Engø Gård Engø Gård is a cozy, 5-star boutique hotel nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Tjøme. With 49 charming rooms and several distinct dining locations across the property, no two days here are ever the same. We pride ourselves on delivering the absolute highest quality possible. From our renowned dinner menus and elegant High Tea to our signature breakfast, almost everything we serve is made in-house from scratch.

What You Will Do

• As our Breakfast Chef, you will own the morning experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and presenting a premium, high-quality 5-star breakfast buffet and à la carte morning dishes.

• Baking and prepping fresh, in-house products daily.

• Managing breakfast inventory, ensuring strict food safety and hygiene standards are met.

• Working independently to ensure the kitchen is prepped, clean, and ready for the afternoon team.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience & Responsibility: You have a background in professional kitchens (hotel experience is a major plus) and can comfortably manage the breakfast service independently.

• Quality-Driven: You care deeply about the details, from the freshness of the ingredients to the final plate presentation.

• Reliable & Punctual: You are a morning person who brings a positive attitude to early shifts.

• Adaptable: You enjoy an all-round, dynamic kitchen environment where boredom doesn't exist.
