Gjøa Sjømat – Now Hiring a seasonal Chefs! 🍽️

We are seeking an experienced chefs to join our team at Gjøa Sjømat, a cozy restaurant in the heart of Rosendal dedicated to quality seafood. This is a full-time position (100%), starting as soon as possible and until September. The role requires flexibility in working evenings and weekends.

• Strong teamwork skills and collaboration with colleagues in the kitchen and service

🎯 Responsibilities

• Prepare and present seafood and meat dishes according to our established routines and profitability goals
• Conduct daily mise en place and ensure timely preparation for lunch and dinner service
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to hygiene standards in line with our guidelines
• Ensure smooth operations in the kitchen during busy periods
• Collaborate effectively with service, bar, and other departments to provide great guest experiences
• Contribute to menu development and seasonal offerings that highlight local ingredients
• Keep kitchen and storage areas clean and organized to ensure a safe working environment
