Are you passionate about authentic Scandinavian cuisine and ready to play a key role in a dynamic kitchen environment? hotell Victoria is looking for a skilled and dedicated Chef (Kokk) to join our team at hosMartin, our vibrant in-house restaurant. This is a full-time position (100%), starting as soon as possible!
At hosMartin, we focus on Scandinavian classics and continental breakfast buffets, offering guests a warm and memorable dining experience from breakfast, through lunch, to dinner. We are proud of our husmanskost (home-style cooking) traditions and work hard to present food that looks inviting and appetizing every day.
What We're Looking For:

A qualified chef (certificate of apprenticeship) or equivalent professional kitchen experience

Passion for Scandinavian cuisine and high-quality ingredients
-
Strong skills in both traditional and modern cooking techniques
-
Ability to thrive in a busy environment and maintain structure and efficiency
-
Experience with both hot and cold dish preparation
-
A collaborative team player who supports a positive and energetic workplace
-
Good communication skills in Norwegian or English
Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and attractive presentation of warm and cold dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Support the kitchen’s daily operations with structure and creativity
-
Plan and develop menus in collaboration with the Restaurant Manager
-
Ensure high standards of hygiene and quality in line with IK-Mat and HMS standards
-
Manage ingredients, inventory, and orders effectively
-
Help foster collaboration across departments to deliver the best guest experience
-
Contribute to our AfterWork Fridays, Sunday Buffets, and seasonal offerings
