🍀 Chef Wanted – O’Connor’s Irish Pub, Stavanger

Full-time | 1-month assignment | Possibility of extension & permanent employment

O’Connor’s Irish Pub Stavanger is looking for a skilled and reliable Chef to join their kitchen team for an initial one-month full-time assignment – with a strong possibility of extending the position or moving into a permanent role if it’s a great match.

Located in the heart of Stavanger, O’Connor’s combines the atmosphere of a traditional Irish pub with a busy social scene and a kitchen serving classic, hearty pub food.

👨‍🍳 The role

You’ll become part of the kitchen team and help deliver consistent, high-quality food throughout service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking dishes according to the restaurant’s menu and standards
• Handling your own section during service
• Mise en place and preparation before service
• Maintaining good structure, cleanliness and food-safety routines
• Working efficiently during busy periods
• Cooperating closely with the rest of the kitchen and front-of-house team

🔎 We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous professional experience as a chef
• Is confident working independently in a busy kitchen
• Works quickly without compromising quality
• Is reliable, organised and takes responsibility
• Has a positive attitude and works well as part of a team
• Can communicate comfortably in English or Norwegian
• Is available to work full-time for approximately one month

Experience with pub food, casual dining, à la carte or high-volume kitchens is an advantage.
