Stord Hotel is seeking a dedicated chef to join our kitchen team. We have one full-time position (100%) available, starting in October (flexible start) until 20.12.25.
🔍 What We Look For
- Strong passion for creating memorable dining experiences
- Experience working in a professional a la carte kitchen
- Understanding of food handling and hygiene standards
- Committed to maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and storage areas
- Excellent teamwork skills and positive attitude towards collaboration
- Fluent in Norwegian or English
🎯 Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes for are a la carte restaurant.
- Prepare food for breakfast and banquets/events.
- Ensure daily mise en place for lunches, conference dinners, and events
- Follow hotel guidelines for ingredient management and hygiene practices
- Collaborate effectively with service, bar, kitchen, and other departments
- Keep the kitchen and storage areas clean and organized
- Contribute to a positive work environment and good teamwork
