About the position

Experienced Chefs Wanted – Events in Lillestrøm

Staffers is looking for experienced chefs who want to become part of our regular team for upcoming events at one of our large clients in Lillestrøm.

The assignment starts at the end of September and continues throughout the autumn until Christmas, with multiple events and shifts available.

A major advantage with this assignment is that you will normally receive your schedule 2–3 months in advance, making it easy to plan work around your life, studies, travel or other commitments.

The work

The events will vary in size and style, and the kitchen work will include everything from:

• Food preparation and production
• Mise en place
• Hot and cold kitchen work
• Plating and service preparation
• Working together with the kitchen team during larger events and productions

We are looking for chefs who are comfortable working in a professional, fast-paced kitchen and can maintain good quality even when volumes are high.

Who we are looking for

You should have:

• Previous professional experience as a chef
• Experience from restaurants, hotels, catering or events
• Good kitchen routines and understanding of food safety
• The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• A positive and reliable attitude

Experience from banquets, conferences, catering or large-scale production is especially relevant.
