Chef Needed ASAP at Tynset Hotell
Tynset Hotell is seeking a dedicated and creative Chef to join our kitchen team immediately. You’ll be working in Tynset Hotell, our welcoming hotel restaurant known for its à la carte menu featuring local Nordic specialties, international dishes, and stone-oven pizzas.
🔪 The Role
- Full-time position (100%), starting ASAP
- Typical shifts: 13:00–22:00 or 15:00–22:00
- Shared tips distributed within the team
- Staff accommodation available: approx. NOK 3,500 / month
👨🍳 Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality dishes in Restaurant Tynset Hotel — from à la carte entrées to pizza and seasonal specials
- Help develop and execute menu items that highlight local ingredients and creativity
- Maintain excellent mise en place and service flow
- Ensure kitchen, storage, and prep areas are clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards
- Communicate clearly with service, bar, and event teams
- Support service for lunches, dinners, events, and conference meals
We’re Looking For You If You:
- Have experience as a chef in a restaurant or hotel kitchen
- Are comfortable with both à la carte and pizza production
- Work efficiently, with structure and attention to detail
- Bring a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Speak Norwegian or English fluently
