About the position

Chef / Pizzaiolo – 2-Month Assignment (Potential Full-Time)

The restaurant is entering an exciting new phase under ownership from Rolis Kjøttkjeller, a local butcher with over 100 years of craftsmanship. Together we are developing a new concept focused on pizza, burgers, and creative small plates, built around high-quality meat products from the butcher shop above the restaurant.

Much of the ingredient preparation is done in a production kitchen, allowing the restaurant team to focus on finishing dishes, quality control, and efficient service.

  • Cook simple dishes such as burgers and small plates
  • Work with high-quality meat products supplied directly from the butcher
  • Plate and assemble dishes during service
  • Work efficiently with the kitchen team

Working Hours

  • Monday – Friday - 15:00 – 21:00

  • Has some kitchen experience (pizza experience is a plus)
  • Works in a structured and efficient way
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Is positive and a good team player

Training will be provided at the start, so this position can also suit someone with basic kitchen experience who wants to develop further. Start: As soon as possible Duration: Approx. 2 months, with possibility for full-time employment

About the company

Victorias Café & Tapas is entering an exciting new chapter. The restaurant is now owned by the team behind Rolis Kjøttkjeller — a family-run butcher with over 100 years of experience in traditional meat craftsmanship.

With this new ownership, the restaurant concept is evolving from traditional tapas into a more creative small-plates kitchen inspired by the butcher’s craft. Our menu is built around high-quality ingredients from the butcher shop above the restaurant, combined with seasonal products and changing weekly dishes.

The idea is simple: great ingredients, prepared with respect and creativity. Instead of a fixed tapas menu, guests can expect a rotating selection of smaller dishes — from house-made meats and steaks to pizza, burgers, and other casual plates designed for sharing.

Working closely with the butcher allows us to use unique cuts, handmade products, and ingredients that rarely appear on regular restaurant menus. It also means we can focus on quality, sustainability, and the philosophy of using the whole animal — values that have defined the butcher’s craft for generations.

Our goal is to create a relaxed and welcoming place where guests can enjoy honest food, good flavors, and a friendly atmosphere. For our team, it’s also an opportunity to work closely with exceptional ingredients and be part of shaping a new concept built on tradition, craftsmanship, and creativity.

Joining Victorias Café & Tapas means becoming part of a small, passionate team where food, quality, and collaboration are at the center of everything we do.
