🍽️ Join Our Team at Opera Huset - Now Hiring Chefs on a permanent and seasonal basis 👨🍳✨
We are seeking talented chefs to join our fine dining restaurants Havsmak and Brasserie Opera inside the Opera House in Oslo.
We have two full-time positions available, starting on May 04, 2026, one is a full-time permanent posistion. The other is full-time seasonal position from 04.05.26 - 15.09.26. The role includes evening and weekend work.
🔍 Who We Are Looking For
- Committed to creating unforgettable dining experiences for our guests
- Skilled in preparing dishes according to established procedures and recipes
- Experienced in a fine-dining a la carte service
- Familiar with food handling and hygiene standards (HMS)
- Promotes cooperation between kitchen, service, bar, and other departments
- Proficient at preparing and cooking high-quality dishes
- Contributes positively to our work environment and team collaboration
- Speaks and understands fluent Norwegian or English
🎯 Responsibilities
- Work as a part of a larger team
- Create memorable overall experiences for our guests
- Execute daily mise en place, lunch services, and dinners
- Follow restaurant protocols regarding food handling and hygiene
- Ensure all guidelines within the set culinary concept are met
- Maintain cleanliness and freshness in kitchen and storage areas
- Foster good teamwork and communication between service, bar, and kitchen staff
